Order Support

  • Processing Times

    Orders are processed pending item availability and payment approval. During high volume periods, product availability may be subject to change while your order is being processed.

    Most orders placed Monday through Friday will be processed and shipped within 2-4 business days.

    Orders placed on Friday or over the weekend will start processing on Monday and ship within 2-4 business days.

  • Updating Orders

    Orders cannot be changed or updated once they are placed as they immediately start processing.

    If you'd like to add another item to your order, please place a new order for the item.

  • Order Cancellations

    Our fulfillment team begins working on your order as soon as it's placed, so once an order is placed we can't cancel or make changes.

    If you have a question about your order our team can be reached via email at support@1upcandy.com. We'll make sure we get back to you within 1 business day so you won’t be kept waiting!

  • Return and Exchange Policy

    Since our products are perishable items we don’t accept returns or exchanges. If you received the wrong items or your order is damaged or lost, please reach out to us at support@1upcandy.com.

  • Order Change Policy

    Due to the many moving parts, once an order is placed and shipped, we are unable to make changes.

  • Refund Policy

    Since our gummies are a perishable item we do not accept returns or exchanges and cannot provide refunds.

  • How do I do the challenge?

    Do it alone. Do it with a friend.

    Just 3 simple steps.

    Step 1: STIR or SHAKE

    Mix NEUTRALIZER with 6oz water and set aside...you're gonna need it later.

    Step 2: SUCK

    Try to suck 3 gummies for 30 seconds without making a face -- yeah, good luck.

    STEP 3: SWOOSH

    Spit out or chew + swallow gummies. Then, swoosh the NEUTRALIZER to clean your teeth and gums.

  • What can I win?

    Post your 1UP Sour Challenge to social for a chance to win INSTANT CASH from Cash App. Make sure to add #1UPSOURCHALLENGE and your $cashtag.

    Twelve (12) Winners shall each receive $500 USD each, one hundred seventy (170) people will win $250 each, and five hundred thirty (530) people will win $50 each (each a “Prize Winner”).

  • Where can I find the official rules?

  • How long do I have to enter?

    The "Contest Period" begins at 12:00 pm Eastern Time ("ET") on May 17, 2023 and ends at 12:00 pm ET on August 17, 2023.

  • I purchased, I challenged, now how do I officially enter?

    To participate and enter this Contest, eligible individuals ("Entrants") will need a Social Media Account. If Entrants do not already have a Social Media Account, Entrants may visit www.instagram.com or www.tiktok.com to create a Social Media Account; creating a Social Media Account is free. By submitting Entrant's information and creating a Social Media Account, Entrant will be required to agree to the Instagram or Tiktok terms of service and privacy notice. If an Entrant does not agree to the Instagram or TikTok terms of service and privacy notice, Entrant cannot create a Social Media Account. Once a Social Media Account is set up, it must be set to "public".

    To enter the Contest by participating in the challenge, Entrants must purchase a 1Up sour gummy at 1upcandy.com and (1) create one video keeping the sour gummy in their mouth for 30 seconds and (2) include their cashtag and the hashtag #1UpSourGummyChallengeeach (an "Entry"). Entrants and Prize Winners should consult with their tax advisors for the tax implications of participating in the Contest.

  • My instagram is private, can I still enter?

    In order for your entry to be considered, your social media accounts must be set to “public”. If they are listed as “private”, we will not be able to view your entry and consider your entry into the contest.

  • How do I know if I won?

    Winners will be notified by receiving a cash prize directly into their Cash App Account on or around August 17, 2023 (a “Winner Notification”). 

  • I live in Arizona, why can’t I enter?

    Unfortunately, our contest is only available everywhere in the USA but not Arizona. When it comes to contests or sweepstakes, each state has particular rules and Arizona did not allow for us to run this contest there. 

    You are welcome to order and still do the challenge with a friend but please note that if you enter into the contest, your entry will not be valid.

Tracking & Shipping

  • Order Tracking

    Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an e-mail notification containing the shipment tracking information.

    Your order may arrive in several shipments. You will receive a separate e-mail notification for each shipment.

  • Address Change Policy

    We cannot make any changes to orders once they ship.

    If you made a mistake on your address, your best bet is to reach out to the carrier to see if your package's destination can be changed.

  • Processing Times

    I know you are stoked to get your order! And trust me, we are STOKED for you too! 

    Just a heads up – once an order ships we can't cancel or make changes. 

    What to expect:

    You'll get a shipping confirmation email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

    You can expect your order to ship within 5-7 business days

    If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, your orders will be shipped via 2-day air. At this time, we only offer ground shipping.

  • My order was delivered to a UPS Access Point

    Orders are typically delivered to a UPS Access Point after one or more unsuccessful delivery attempts, based on the driver's discretion. Totally get that this is not ideal but unfortunately, we can't assume responsibility for what a delivery driver chooses to do once a package is in their hands.

    Here's what you can do:

    The address of the UPS Access Point should be included in your tracking info. Your order will be held there for 7 days before it is returned. Unfortunately, we can't provide a replacement or refund if this happens.

    Here's some helpful info from the UPS Website: Before you go to the UPS Access Point location, track your package to confirm the package location and that it’s “Awaiting Customer Pickup”. When you track your package, you can also view the operating hours (weekend hours are available) and a map of where you will pick up your package.

  • My order’s tracking says delivered, but it’s not here!

    Although UPS and/or USPS are effective logistics companies, mistakes and accidents happen. Sometimes, a package will be marked as delivered by the shipping carrier prematurely. 

    If you receive the delivery email but have not received your package, here is what we suggest:

    Wait at least 48-72 hours. Waiting sucks, but sometimes the carrier marks a delivery as "delivered" prematurely and it can show up.

    Check around your building that the package was delivered to and with neighbors.

    If you still cannot locate, contact UPS or USPS directly and file a report.

  • Do you ship internationally?

    Right now, we are only available in the US! 

    We hope to expand globally in the future but do not have plans to do so at this time.

  • Is there any risk to consuming this product?

    Our gummies are safe to eat! What makes them sour is the combination of Malic Acid, Tartaric Acid and Citric Acid. You can read more about each here. (link to other FAQ)

    All of these are consumable and safe to eat, but we must warn that this is not recommended for people with history of hypomineralized enamel (soft teeth), sensitive mouth tissue; or people with history of reflux/heartburn, disease/disorder or sensitivity to acidic foods.

  • What causes the gummy to be so sour?

    Our gummy is made with Malic Acid, Tartaric Acid and Citric Acid. 

    Malic Acid is the main acid in most stone fruits. Think cherries, apricots and the primary acid in granny apples!

    Tartaric Acid is the main acid in grapes and can also be found in avocados and tamarind!

    Citric Acid is common in citrus fruits like lemons and limes!

    The combination of these three give it the sour and challenging kick! All of these are consumable and safe to eat, but we must warn that this is not recommended for people with history of hypomineralized enamel (soft teeth), sensitive mouth tissue; or people with history of reflux/heartburn, disease/disorder or sensitivity to acidic foods.

  • Help! I had a reaction to the gummies.

    We are sorry to hear you have had a reaction. Reactions can vary from person to person and depend on several factors, including individual sensitivites, allergies or intolerance to certain ingredients. If you suspect that you're having a reaction to sour gummies, stop eating immediately and seek medical attention. 

  • How many gummies come an a box?

    Each order contains 2 sour challenges, one for you and one for you to 1UP a friend (or enemy).
